Regional civil-society think tank
Consultant hiring ran on email and spreadsheets and was slowing programme delivery. We built an end-to-end procurement pipeline in Odoo 19: custom stages, website intake forms, automated survey dispatch and a Python scoring engine for technical and financial evaluations. Approvals, e-signatures and purchase orders with analytic distribution complete the flow.
Regional youth leadership programme, IGAD member states
Applications from across the region needed fair, fast screening. We designed a KoboToolbox application form, a Python screening script for automatic eligibility filtering, and a multi-stage Excel workbook for reviewer scoring. For the first cohort's virtual training we also produced facilitation decks and anonymous pre/post assessments shared by QR code, giving facilitators clean data for impact reporting.
Regional monitoring platform covering IGAD member states
The client's terms of reference under-specified the technology behind a sensitive observatory documenting pro-democracy actors. We scoped a secure adopt-and-configure architecture built from open-source components, with strict separation of internal and public data, and delivered a six-phase, 16–20 week implementation proposal with an itemised budget.
Community pharmacy
A drug store tracking stock by hand could not control expiry dates or reconcile purchases against sales. We proposed a branded, web-based inventory and POS system with batch and expiry tracking, hosted deployment, on-site training and a five-year cost-of-ownership plan that keeps running costs low after year one.
Manufacturing and materials supply In development
We are building a self-hosted, multi-tenant ERP on Odoo 19 Community for CNC cutting shops: quote to cutting job to delivery to invoice, offcut and machine-time tracking, and an Ethiopian accounting and tax module. An AI layer on our own GPU server will read supplier invoices from photos, answer report questions in plain language and accept Amharic voice input from operators.
Civil-society organization staff
We ran a multi-session security training programme with a live phishing simulation, a custom landing page and a 17-slide session on passwords, multi-factor authentication, sensitive data handling and phishing recognition.
Organizational WordPress website
A full audit covering security, performance, SEO and plugins, delivered as a vulnerability worksheet, a technical report and a staff briefing deck.
Mixed agricultural operation
We designed a field data system for areas with little or no connectivity: a full data model, four XLSForms, a Python sync bridge into the farm management platform, and deployment documentation.
Pastoralist communities Concept
We designed an architecture for monitoring conflict, food security, drought, rangeland condition and deforestation, using PostGIS and Python on top of existing KoboToolbox and Docker infrastructure.
